Home     /     Blog     /     How to Compare Memory Foam Pillow Suppliers for Private Label Orders
By Mr.Sun

Comparing memory foam pillow suppliers for a private-label order is easier when every quotation refers to the same construction. A product name or photograph does not define the foam, shape, cover and packaging that will arrive under your brand.

Begin with the intended pillow format

State whether you need a rectangular solid-foam pillow, a contoured design, shredded filling or another construction. Provide a drawing with finished dimensions. For contours, include edge heights and the central profile rather than only the overall size.

Specify which features are essential and which can be proposed by the supplier. This prevents an alternative from being mistaken for a like-for-like quotation.

Request a sample specification

Ask for the material description, construction and available density or firmness information. Identify the exact sample reference. A soft sample with an unspecified foam grade is difficult to reproduce or compare with another supplier’s offer.

Evaluate samples under consistent conditions with their supplied covers. Record dimensions, shape and observations of feel without presenting personal preference as a laboratory measurement.

Develop the branded cover

Agree fabric, colour, zipper location, label size and artwork placement. Check that a printed or embroidered logo remains legible on the finished curved surface. Approve the actual label wording, including the care information, before production.

Confirm whether an inner liner is included and whether it is intended to be opened. If fill adjustment is a feature, request clear instructions and a suitable way to manage removed filling.

Verify claims before printing them

Ask for evidence behind material and certification claims and confirm which component or model it covers. Certification of foam is not automatically certification of every cover, accessory and finished product feature. Verify permitted use of any certification name or logo with the relevant programme.

Avoid adding unverified claims about pain relief, cooling duration, environmental benefits or product lifespan to your packaging. The approved artwork should reflect what can be substantiated for the actual model.

Compare the full commercial offer

  • Product construction and drawing revision.
  • Branding method and artwork setup charges.
  • Individual packaging and carton data.
  • Sample cost and approval procedure.
  • Order quantity, current price and delivery term.
  • Required product documents and inspection arrangements.

Ask when production timing begins: after payment, artwork approval or sample approval. A quoted lead time without its starting condition is difficult to use for a launch plan.

Keep a controlled approval record

Retain the reference sample, specification, artwork files and packaging version together. Ask the supplier to flag material substitutions before production. When reviewing a later shipment, compare it with that record rather than relying on memory of the original sample.

Send Suneco Plus the preferred pillow shape, cover brief, estimated quantity and destination to begin a private-label discussion. Request confirmation of the available options and evidence for your chosen model before finalising a retail claim.
